HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
You know what's really great about my mom?!? She's my best friend. She is the best mother in the world. She has been my encourager, my cheerleader, my supporter, and so much more. I'm so thankful God has blessed me with such a godly mom. I hope I can be an awesome mom like her someday... I love you mom!!!

Last night we got together to celebrate hunny's b-day. It was fun. But there was something missing... Mike and E. Well, Mike was there, but he was our waiter. Unfortunately, he had to work. But he still was able to entertain us and talk. But E was not there. These gatherings aren't the same w/o E; there is a void... But, we did have fun. After dinner, we surprised hunny with a cake. The funny thing was that I bought those trick candles. So, when hunny blew them out, they wouldn't go out. Then Mike tried to help. But nothing worked. As the restaurant filled with smoke, we started freaking out because we didn't want to get in trouble with the owner. But, me being the smart person that I am, lifted up the candles and put them in water... So, we did not set the restaurant on fire. Thank God! LOL

So the other day I put my Newsboys CD in my car, and I got nostalgic. I can't wait till our trip to the Smokies... It will be here before we know it. We have to plan a menu, and Viv and I have to go white water rafting... LOL What else will we do?!?! Oh this year, I will NOT sleep in the kitchen...
Anyways, I can't wait... Well, the only bad thing about this vacation, is that at the end, I will be old...
:o( I am getting closer to 30...

People keep asking me when my house is going to be finished. Well, actually, they haven't even started on it yet. So, it'll be a while. But I am in no hurry. I mean, I am anxious, because I want my own place again and I have so many plans on how to decorate it. But I am having so much fun with my parents. It's been a blast living with them. I think J and I will definetely miss them when we leave; and Ellie will miss them too. I am just very thankful that my parents are putting up with us!
And I am learning the true meaning of PATIENCE being a VIRTUE!

So today has been an awesome day. God has blessed me so much today. I was able to buy a loveseat for my house (we've been sitting on the floor) and it was an awesome price. And I got a job. It is so awesome. I was so excited today. I also relaxed all day, and it was so good... Anyways, God knew I needed a break, and I got a nice one...

This is cool. I like this idea! Now it is much easier for me to post an entry here!
This is DAMISSUS by the way. I know it can get confusing...
So, I had a date with yellowchutes, (PAM), last night. We had so much fun. It made me realize that sometimes we need to take a break from our crazy schedules and enjoy some time with our family and friends. Pam, E and I grew up together, we always had fun! Our favorite thing to do was play Barbies. My, how fast we grew up!!! Anyways, we have to spend more time with those we love.
And that is what Pam helped me realize!!!

Hey Newt, the author thing worked. Very good!!!
So, I am going to post here at my own risk because I know for sure that a certain someone is going to come after me with a revenge.
Yesterday I made waffles for breakfast. I am not talking about frozen Eggo, I am talking about waffles made with a waffle maker, warm, with lots of syrup.
Then at night I baked some cookies. I tried a new recipe. They are very good.
This morning I made pancakes. Again, not frozen, no ofense to Aunt Jemina, but mine are better. They were banana pancakes. Yum...
I made the pancakes today because mustangboy complained that I made the waffles yesterday when he did not have breakfast at home. So I decided to spoil him a bit :o)
My point after all this talk that is probably making you hungry: I like to spoil my children, in a good way I mean.
I never liked children who are brats and can get away with anything they want. That's not what I mean.
But my children are grown now, and since I got sick and had to quit my job, might as well bake cookies and make them smile :o)
Funny thing was that when dad came home I was getting some cookies out of the oven. He looked at them and said: "but they are not snickerdoodles..."
He is a snickerdoodle monster HE HE HE
I posted!!! YAY! I still have some brain power I guess LOL
E, I will be sending some cookies your way soon. I am going send some for Garrett too. But I'll mail his straight to his address.
